As an empath with a burning passion to help the hurting I started this blog. In this short life of mine, I stood face to face with multiple severe mental health problems. Such as clinical depression and complex PTSD. What may sound like a hopeless situation has a happy ending after all. Throughout my recovery process I’ve found everything I needed to press on, in Jesus Christ. However, I’ve also seen a lot of misunderstandings about the concept of mental health within Christianity. I am a Christian who some days has fought and other days has been carried through this process. Therefore I feel called to share the hope, refuge, compassion, joy, love, deliverance, and I wished there were enough words to describe what I experienced in Christ. And of course, I pray you will too. One day I will share my story in detail, but for now, I hope I can help you in your journey of recovery from the other side. The recovered side.
Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” ~ Isaiah 6:8
